Keystroke Loggers

Keystroke loggers are hardware keyboard recorders capable of memorizing hundreds of thousands of keys pressed on a PC keyboard. A logger is a small electronic device plugged in between a standard keyboard plug and a computer.

It's main function is to log all keys pressed on the keyboard to it's own internal non-volatile memory. The stored data can be later recalled and analyzed by special software on any other computer. Keystroke loggers are hard to detect, as they look like a normal part of a keyboard's cable.
