Shuriken

Shuriken are Japanese concealed weapons that was are used for throwing, cutting, and sometimes stabbing. They are small, sharpened, hand-held blades that were traditionally made from a variety of everyday items.

They are commonly called “throwing stars”, but the pointed star shaped form is but one of many different designs the blades can take.
