Best Super Bowl ads, 2008

I don’t know if it was just me, but overall the Super Bowl ads just didn’t seem as good this year. Maybe it was the fact that advertisers had to blow their entire ad budget on 2.7 mil for 30 seconds of air time, leaving nothing for the actual ads? I mean, if the presidential campaigns think the ads are too expensive on the Sunday before Super Tuesday, then you KNOW the ads are expen$ive!!!

There were a few that really stood out, however. Pepsi’s spot with Justin Timberlake flying through the air probably had some of the best special effects, and the Life Water ad with the lizards dancing (and farting) to Thriller was a pretty good one. The two Bridgestone Tire ads really made me laugh, so they get a spot on our site this year.
